Dawn Christen
Dawn Christen has spent more than 25 years fighting for labor organizations and their members throughout Ohio. As the founder of Christen Law Group, she concentrates her practice on traditional labor law and has been instrumental in securing public- and private-sector project labor agreements, advancing worker-centered policies, and standing up for labor organizations before state and federal courts, administrative agencies, arbitration forums, and other tribunals.
Her work is rooted in direct advocacy for working people: enforcing contracts, challenging unfair labor practices, pursuing grievances and arbitrations, litigating disputes, and confronting efforts to weaken workers’ rights. She advocates for legislation that strengthens labor protections and against legislation that restricts workers’ rights, including laws that chill or undermine the right to protest. She also drafts legislation and policy language for city and local governments, helping turn pro-worker priorities into enforceable protections. Dawn is known for strategic, relentless advocacy focused on strengthening labor organizations, protecting workers, and achieving concrete results for the people they represent.
